Cops on Donut Shops by Stormy on May 06, 2006 Don't laugh. It's all for charity! Cops on Donut Shops, the annual Special Olympics fund raiser has become another tradition for me. It doesn't hurt that the cops who hang out on the roofs are my friends! That almost makes my visit mandatory. I visited the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office crew in Lone Tree. This is the longest running local donut shop event. One of the officers even camps out on the roof for the whole weekend to drum up support for Special Olympics!
