Carpenter's Peak
by Stony on February 02, 2008

Marmots love the mountains, but hiking up to them is a completely different issue.

Today I joined some of the human friends on a hike to the top of Carpenter's Peak in Roxborough State Park. The sun was shining, there was a chill in the air and snow on the ground. But unlike my bi-pedal counterparts that had to walk, I took the easy way up. The view from the top was magnificent and well worth the trip. I look forward to joining my friends on other hikes in the near future.
