Democratic National Convention, Day 2
by Stormy on August 26, 2008

The beauty of living in America is the right to have an opinion and to participate in the political process.

We all have opinions about how the world should run, what our country is supposed to do and who we feel is the best person for the job. In many places around the world this type of freedom is unimaginable, but here in the United States freedom is a right and exercising that freedom is something all citizens are encouraged to do. The second day of the convention saw thousands of people rallying for their causes, voicing their opinions and debating the future course. Not everyone agreed with the views presented, but that's a part of the allure of democracy in progress. Please don't read a political message into the pictures that follow. Marmot Adventures, individual marmots and their handlers want it to be understood that these are images from the streets, events that drew crowds, public curiosities. Marmot Adventures makes no political endorsement. Our only goal is to showcase the happenings at the 2008 DNC.

There were a lot of Hillary supporters in town.
